And you thought I forgot about this place?

Where have I been?

I've been in a few places, mostly not doing art, though. I was primarily focusing on doing video creation, but I got burnt out on it, since they'd take like 2 weeks to a month to make. I do have the full audio recording/gameplay recording done for the second RoZ video, so its just a matter of putting it all together.

The CoP video has been fully scripted and fully recorded, but I haven't done the voice-over work for that one yet, so thats still on the table for stuff to do. But where have I been, outside of that?

I've been playing a LOT of TF2. A friend of mine named Honey was showing some clips of him playing it competitively, and around that time, the newbie cup was gonna start soon. It's the place where people with 0 competitive experience show up, they get you coaches, and 5 other players. So after I played that

I then went into the newcomers league, which is kinda annoying how they have the same name. I ended up actually being team leader, meaning that I made the team. It originally started as a team for friends, but one of the friends left, and at the end of the season, the other friend left.

So during the off-season, which is what's currently happening, it's been a mess in terms of losing teammates, finding new ones, and doing tryouts. The biggest question is: Do we go up a div, or do we stay in NC? Once we go to AM, we can't go back to NC.

Anything besides that?

Not really, lots of FFXI because of the videos I've been recording, and the TF2 stuff has been taking a lot of my time, as on top of doing the scrimms, I have to practice on jump maps to get more consistent with skill in my jumps, which can take a while to finish, depending on the map itself.

I've also been reading a lot more. I bought a Kobo Sage, and I love it! Me and a friend have been recommending manga to each other, on top of my regular readings. So I just haven't made any time for my art in general.

Does it mean that there's no more art being made?

Mostly, the videos were the art being made. But since it's the off-season, I'm going to put some time back into my art, as I have some ideas, so stay tuned for that!

But one more thing

I'm currently working on a new translation project for a game called Generations of Chaos: Exceed for the GameCube. It's an rpg/strategy game, it's pretty cool. I'm only really working on a menu patch as of now, so that anyone can actually play the game if they want to, even if they're missing out on the story.
